The Radeon HD 4850 GS Gainward

The manufacturer Gainward unveils its first graphics card based on a graphics processor AMD, so far the manufacturer merely GPU NVIDIA, but the impressive performance of the RV770 did change his mind. It presents its Radeon HD 4850 Golden Sample. This model embeds a RV770 processor clocked at 700 MHz against 625 MHz for reference maps. The 512 MB of GDDR3 are clocked at 2 200 MHz against only 2 000 MHz for standard models.
The model Golden Sample therefore seems especially promising that embeds a home cooling system composed of a copper base, two heat pipes, an aluminum radiator and a fan of 80 mm. The graphics card Gainward Radeon HD 4850 Golden Sample will be sold around 160 euros. Gainward propose a standard version with the heatpipe of reference and frequencies GPU / memory conventional 625/2000 MHz at a price of 140 euros.
