Nokia is expected to announce its two new terminals multimedia Series N on August 25, as the site Boy Genius Report. The N85 and N79 are references expected by everyone, while the N96, announced at the last show Mobile World Congress in February is still not marketed (scheduled for October).

Monday, August 18, Nokia present in private, sorted at a hearing on its part next two smartphones range of high-end multimedia Series N, before the global launch scheduled for Monday this week .. Even if we can not stick only to rumours and unofficial photos published on the web at the moment, the product “flagship” announced by Nokia should be the N85, a model sliding. This little brother of N96 (without mobile TV) is expected to arise as N95’s designated successor: in addition to the format “dual slider”, it also incorporates the main features.

Second model that could make its appearance, N79, a terminal-piece format, in line with the N82, with a screen 2.4-inch QVGA resolution, camera 5 million pixels, and interface Series 60 Third Edition Feature Pack 2. Nothing really new under the sun, if these forecasts are confirmed …

There is little chance that Nokia already announced its first touch-screen terminal, which should not be part of the range N. The famous “Tube” whose output is not expected before early 2009, would be part of the XpressMusic range.
