This is less than fifteen days that the iPhone 3G has been on the market and Apple’s technical teams are already working on two forthcoming updates to better use. If the new iPhone operates an internal system to version 2.0, “versions” 2.0.1 “and” 2.1 “for iPhone and iPod Touch have already been supplied to a few privileged developers.
The first users who installed the update “2.1″ for iPhone found, apart from minor changes, adding two new features. The first allows the system Mac OS X Mobile to better manage the GPS chip 3G iPhone. Indeed, it is now possible to know the meaning of moving a mobinaute and its speed in real time. Needless to say, these are two essential information for designing a GPS navigation software worthy of the name. By the way, the iPhone “2.1″ is used to exploit the same information from the new development kit published by Apple.
The second feature concerns the next notification service Push. Apple unveiled last June a new service for developers who will make a push notifications directly from an application. A service that will be especially important for software instant conversation for example. This function should make it possible to reduce communications (most in need of permanent communication) and thus save the aircraft’s flight. This feature may be exploited as early as September. And it is therefore currently under implementation in the updated “2.1″ iPhone.
