Free-hotspot continues to expand its substantial free wireless network with always aim to achieve the 5 000 access points by the end of the year.

Free-hotspot is remembered for a company based in the city of Dublin which manages a large network free Wi-Fi whose base stations are installed in cafes, hotels, restaurants, pubs, train stations, airports, ports, beaches and resorts publics in Europe.

Last February, when she claimed 2 to 400, which is four times more than a year ago, the firm announced a new target of 5 000 access points across Europe by the end of the 2008. Over the months, this goal seems more and more close. Indeed, three months later, the network already had 600 more.

Just two months have passed and we now expect an additional 500 or 3 500 terminals across 18 European countries. According to the latest figures provided by Free-hotspot, the network is used by approximately 600 000 people every month.
