BenQ E55: A new mobile phone GSM tri / UMTS
Friday, July 18, 2008 22:44BenQ, a manufacturer based in Taiwan, will launch shortly a new 3G mobile phone, the E55 model. Yet equipped adequately to the base, it disappoints by an autonomy that could be described as another age.

If this new model clamshell (or clamshell) is not the latest technologies, it remains a mobile pleasing to the eye and adequately equipped.
It shows first GSM tri-compatibility, GPRS, WAP and UMTS (3G). Its internal display is a 2-inch model displaying 262 144 colors at a resolution 176 x 220 pixels and a digital camera model 2 Megapixels. The player supports MP3 music and MPEG-4 videos and there is a voice recorder. The data storage will be within 45 MB of internal memory, then on a memory card type microSD, while the synchronization pass through the USB port or Bluetooth connectivity.
To end on autonomy, which is frankly not his strong point, the battery Lithium-Ion 900 mAh allows up to 2 hours and 40 minutes in communications and up to 180 hours of standby time. It is far too little for a mobile phone today.
