Nuance: a prototype search engine vocal for iPhone

If the display touch can reduce the number of shares required to achieve the desired function, manipulation could be further simplified by using voice commands or by extracting information by voice synthesis TTS (Text to Speech). The iPhone will have its search engine vocal
The company announced thus have developed a prototype search engine specific to the vocal iPhone, the image of products designed for other mobile platforms. It will ultimately users to make queries by simply pronouncing the natural language, without having to learn a “grammar” specific.
Applications will be processed and interpreted on servers Nuance, which in turn provide appropriate responses. This type of device will for example at work (but developed by another company, Vlingo) in the mobile tool Yahoo! OneSearch.
The prototype search engine Nuance voice was dubbed OVS for Open Voice Search, and should help facilitate research on mobile by eliminating the tedious step of the seizure. Nuance has not yet given a date of availability for its prototype OVS for iPhone but this system can be adapted to any search engine, to imagine multiple applications (research in a catalogue of multimedia content to simply pronouncing the name of the artist, for example).
