The SMS to remind teens to take their treatment

According to a US study, young people suffering from chronic diseases more or less serious (asthma, kidney failure, diabetes, etc. …) does not properly comply with the requirements of their doctor. Only 30% of adolescents with asthma properly follow their treatment … They often do not take medication at the time specified or they simply forget completely for the day. They think doing the next day by doubling the dose. In the final treatment in most cases is not properly monitored. But a doctor recalls, “a treatment can be effective only if it is properly followed.”
As poorly monitored, it can lead to emergencies, or even worsening of the disease. Moreover, these interventions are more costly and especially easy to avoid.
A doctor from the State of Ohio has found that young people are so dependent on texting that sometimes they even manage to respond and send messages while they are on the table for consideration of his cabinet. He therefore had the idea of automatic recall young patients via SMS. As adolescents automatically receive a text message to every moment of the day which corresponds to a drug, an injection or a breathing exercise.
The message can be programmed personally with the doctor and only for the patient. It will be sent every day at the same time: “good day!” or “Go take your stamps!” or “Little pink pill in the morning” to each his command.
