Samsung i200 formalizes its smartphone in WM 6.1

Samsung officially announces its i200 smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, a product for the market entry level.

It has a battery of 1100 mAh, providing a range of 4 hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of standby time. The phone has a brightness sensor automatically adjusts the screen and the illumination of the keys depending on the ambient light, to conserve battery life.

Qualified “companion urban professionals”, the Samsung i200 smartphone will be marketed in Europe from June 2008, at a price not yet communicated.
