One million Centro, and then?
By admin at 3 April, 2008, 2:01 pm

A few days ago Palm was pleased to have sold more than 800000 copies of its latest model, the Centro. And so now that the million has been crossed.
We must spraying champagne in Palm because it is a good score for a society moribund. Yes, but good, we should not push the cork too far.
If this result is spectacular for Palm, it is a habit for many of its competitors such as Palm or HTC. When Nokia sells more than 1 million N95 or HTC over 1 million Touch is to discover users with terminals which offer innovative new uses. With Palm and its Centro, it is rather a return to the past by bringing their users 2 years ago.
Nevertheless, we may recognize that its floor price, the Centro could democratize the use of smartphones to the general public it is a fact. On the other hand, it could also disappoint those same people as the Centro does not offer the same purpose as the N95 or Touch.
